Project Plant
Garden
Our past work in this space has included renovating the bluestone sidewalk to restore its original charm. We replicated the historic ironwork of the front areaway to craft a bespoke, hand-forged, hot-riveted basket-weave tree guard. A hackberry tree, affectionately named Henry, was planted to replace a fallen Callery Pear. A sleek trash enclosure was built to discreetly manage waste while maintaining curb appeal. And through the years, we have provided ongoing seasonal planting displays. Our current planting design for the front garden is filled with native perennials, which will provide year-round interest and attract birds and pollinators; an aesthetic and ecological nod to what you will experience through the front doors and out into the larger scope of our showhouse work: the back garden
Energies have imprinted in this garden. If you sit quietly you can feel them: the echoes of a beautiful family who raised three smart, kind children; their kitchen always wafting with the aroma of warm Caribbean food. A beloved, larger-than-life, rescued cat who was the first to greet you and escort you outside. Pesky squirrels— little thieves, but who could blame them? A cardinal’s nest, a poignant reminder of why we saved a straggly shrub that eventually grew into a tree that is now a cherished home.
