When can I visit the Showhouse?
Your ticket to the Showhouse is good for one visit anytime during opening hours between October 2 and November 1. Opening hours are Thursdays & Fridays 11 am-7 pm and Saturdays & Sundays 10 am- 6 pm.
Where is the Showhouse?
The Showhouse is at 1 Monroe Place, Brooklyn, NY 11201.
How do I get to the Showhouse?
Is there parking?
We recommend taking public transit, walking/biking, or ridesharing. The nearest subway stations are Clark St (2/3), High St (A/C), and Borough Hall/Court St (2/3/4/5/R). Street parking is extremely limited in the vicinity of the Showhouse, although there are a few parking garages somewhat nearby.
Is there a limit to how long I can visit the house?
No! Stay as long as you like! There is no re-entry once you leave.
What is the last day I can visit the house?
The Showhouse will close on Sunday, November 1st, at 6 pm.
How can I take a guided tour of the house?
Private tours of at least 10 people are available for booking Monday-Wednesday, mornings and afternoons, from October 2 to November 1. Please email showhouse@thebha.org for details.
Can I bring food or drinks into the Showhouse?
Unfortunately, in order to protect the rooms and all the items in them, we do not allow any food or drinks to be brought into the Showhouse.
Is there a student or senior rate?
We do not offer discounts for students or seniors. However, we do offer a discount for tour groups of students or seniors. See above question regarding tours for details.
Can I smoke or vape?
Smoking and vaping on the premises are strictly prohibited. Anywhere, including the roof.
How can I get involved?
Please email volunteer@thebha.org if you’re interested in volunteering at the Showhouse.
Can I bring my child to the house? Do they need a ticket?
We welcome children 10 years and older to visit the house. They do need a ticket. Please be sure they behave responsibly. Babies are allowed in a front carrier only.
Are there bathrooms at the Showhouse?
There are bathrooms available for guests to use inside the Showhouse. They are located on the 3rd and 4th floors.
Where can I eat near the Showhouse?
Brooklyn Heights has a variety of eating establishments both for sit-down and to-go. Henry Street and Montague Street are our main retail corridors, but there are also some great finds on some smaller streets. Many local restaurants are BHA Neighborhood Partners.
Is the Showhouse for sale?

Can I bring a bag to the Showhouse?
Backpacks, luggage, or large shopping bags are not allowed in the Showhouse
Is there an elevator? Is the house ADA accessible?
Unfortunately, the elevator is not currently operating. We will update the FAQs if that changes. The house has five levels plus a roof deck. Visitors should be prepared to navigate the house independently.

Yes, some items in designers’ areas are for sale. Information is available at the Showhouse.
